Dress Code
Scarthingwell Golf Course actively applies a dress code both on the course and in the clubhouse. It is a requisite of the golf club that members, guests and visitors are correctly dressed at all times. The following will apply:

- Spiked or dimpled golf shoes to be worn at all times whilst playing the course.
- Jeans, trainers, tracksuits and collar-less 'T' shirts are strictly forbidden.
- Tailored shorts only may be worn. Sports shorts are strictly forbidden.
- White ankle sports socks, trainer socks or knee length socks must be worn when wearing shorts.
- Shirts must not be removed, for example in hot weather.
- Shirts must not be worn outside trousers or shorts.

- Smart, casual dress to be worn at all times.
- Jeans, trainers, tracksuits and collar-less 'T' shirts are strictly forbidden.
- Tailored shorts with white sports socks or knee length socks only may be worn.
- Socks must be worn at all times.
- The changing of shoes in the car park is strictly forbidden.

Please note that members of the Golf Club have the authority to police both the course and the clubhouse in the absence of the Owners and Committee. |
Failure to abide by these instructions will result in the refusal of admittance to the Clubhouse and golf course. |
